Female Supremacy

Every once in awhile I look at my book reviews on Amazon. Not often since I don't like reading anything negative and quite frankly I don't usually learn anything helpful. This is especially true with my paranormal romance pen-name which is the first pen I published under, 11 novels. Some of the reviews are downright nasty and there's no reason for that. It takes an author months, if not years, to write, edit and publish a novel. The people who shoot that down are nothing more than bullies who can't write something themselves and are looking for 5 seconds of "fame" or are looking to make themselves feel better by putting someone else down who's accomplished something they never will.

But I recently received an email from someone saying a free book I listed wasn't free which made me check to make sure it was. Often times Amazon changes things, especially free books. It's a complicated process to make a book free on Amazon and I'm not going to go into it here. Just take my word for it. Endless emails and phone calls and even then, it's often changed back when authors aren't vigilant.

Thus I re-read my most favorite review on Barcelona, my perma-freebie. The review is a 3 star doozy that states "Short story but not really interesting unless you like weird sex. I guess there are people like this but it's nothing that I like." Goddess how I LOVE this review! I couldn't have PAID for a better one and it makes me laugh maniacally every time I read it. First of all - I'm pretty fucking transparent about what this story and all my others are about. In the title, in the subtitle, and in the description = "The pages of this short story curl with BDSM, kinky play, a willing submissive, eroticism, humiliation, degradation, sissification and impact play." So either the reviewer can't read or they're dense. Plus he doth protest too much. If he doesn't like weird sex, why would he read my book? Regardless, it's a laugh for me and a great review for others to know HELLS YES I WRITE ABOUT WEIRD SEX! 

But the review that chaps my hide is the one that says: "An introduction to a new world Learn along with a new sub. Also are Dommes really sympathetic toward ordinary young women?"

My response to you "macmillin" is: Ummm FUCK YES YOU FUCKTARD!!!!

1. On MY Amazon profile I say I'm a lifestyle Dominatrix which means I AM A DOMME and I AM most definitely sympathetic toward ordinary young ****women!!!
2. What makes some asshole guy think that Domme's are not real people with real feelings who CARE ABOUT OTHER WOMEN, especially women who are being abused by ASSHOLE MEN?

The fact that we aren't seen as ORDINARY WOMEN with ACTUAL FEELINGS who live REAL LIVES is fucking ridiculous!!! We are the women behind you in line at the grocery store. We are the women walking next to you down the street. We are the women you see working out at the gym. WE ARE ORDINARY WOMEN OURSELVES!!!! ORDINARY does NOT MEAN we (or every other fucking WOMAN on this earth) is not EXTRAORDINARY!!!!!!!

Does this asshole think Domme's are dressed exclusively in black leather 24/7 and carrying whips while we walk down the street? Does he think we are bullies or heartless or have no empathy? Does he think we see a female in need and we turn our backs on her because she isn't a Dominatrix?

What the serious FUCK? This is a HUGE problem! Put down your dick hardening fantasy and get a grip on REAL LIFE!

I am a sadist and I still have a heart. I love, I get hurt by people, I care about people, I am like everyone else in this world that is kind and loving. I am NOT like the 45th  narcissistic president of the United States or his cronies. I am not like the brazillionaires or 1% white male jerks or the owners of big pharma or Monsanto. I know dozens of other Domme's and every single one is just as real and empathetic as I am. And every single one most definitely CARES about an "ordinary young woman".
